    Approximately one meter long is usual, however almost any size can be quoted and built.

    What type of vessels are built ?

    Almost any square-rigged ship, from Phoenician times up to the advent of steam ships, where information is available.

    Yes, from various working plans and research literature

    What woods are used ?

    All types, mostly Ash, Bamboo, Beech, SA  Pine ply, Mahogany, Teak, etc

    What colors are used ?

    As close as possible to how the original ships would have looked during their service.

    How are the finished products package ?

    Each boat is uniquely secured into its own particular, strengthened plywood box with labels.  It is advised that the ultimate owner retains this special box for possible, convenient future transportation.

    What do the finished products weigh ?

    Each weighs only two to three kilograms, complete with mounting base.

    How are the packed goods dispatched ?

    By airfreight/courier worldwide.

    How long does it take to build a ship ?

    Complete and ready for dispatch, depending on required finish and size, approximately 180 hours.

    How much detail appears on the ship ?

    Although complete, final detailing depends on customer requirement and final quote.

    Are sails fitted to all vessels ?

    Not necessarily, this depends on the customer quote.  Full rigged clipper ships often look more attractive without sails, which tend to hide a lot of the beautiful complex rigging
